Cannons opened its doors to the public in 1972 and has been in continuous operation since that date. It is located on a cliff over looking the Dana Point Harbor, a historic setting chronicled in Richard Henry Dana’s novel “Two Years Before the Mast”. Cannons is a privately owned, full service restaurant, that seeks to provide wonderful food in a contemporary atmosphere, staffed by people dedicated to service.
