Dana Point’s Parking & Circulation Oversight Task Force Seeks Public Input on its
Draft Parking Implementation Plan
In November 2017, the Dana Point City Council established the Parking and Circulation Oversight Task Force that has been working to develop and prioritize programs to improve parking efficiency in Dana Point.
It is important for the City to plan for the future of parking and connectivity as Dana Pointevolves. The purpose of the Citywide Parking Implementation Plan is to create effective strategies to manage parking efficiently in Dana Point and ensure that the necessary parking solutions are in alignment with the community’s vision for Dana Point.
The draft plan will be available to the public for two weeks, prior to the next Task Force meeting scheduled on March 6 at 4:00 p.m. in the Dana Point City Council Chambers.
The draft Citywide Parking Implementation Plan is now available on the City’s website at:
www.bit.ly/danapointparking. Public comment is encouraged. Correspondence can be directed to Dana Point Senior Planner at bdeines@danapoint.org or at (949) 248-3570. The public is also welcome to attend and provide comments at the Parking Task Force meeting on March 6.
Once finalized, the Task Force will present its recommendations and annual status report at the March 19 City Council meeting that can be live streamed on the City’s YouTube channel.
